I am Md Yekra Rahman, a PhD student in Electrical Engineering at the University of Missouri–Columbia (M-I-Z!), specializing in analog and power integrated circuit (IC) design. I am currently actively seeking Summer 2026 internship opportunities where I can contribute to the design, verification, and validation of high-performance analog and power ICs.
My technical focus spans the complete spectrum of analog/mixed-signal IC design and power management. I have hands-on experience designing and verifying op-amps, LDOs, PLLs, and gate-driver circuits, as well as developing power management IC (PMIC) architectures for both conventional CMOS technologies and emerging wide-bandgap (SiC/GaN/Ga2O3) devices. My design workflow is grounded in Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre.
Beyond circuit-level design, I have experience across the full IC development flow. This includes device-level TCAD simulation of power MOSFETs, extraction and generation of SPICE-compatible compact models, and integration of these models into Cadence environments to evaluate system-level performance. I have also designed the necessary auxiliary and peripheral circuits to enable reliable operation of newly developed devices within complete PMIC and power-conversion systems.
Complementing simulation, I value practical validation and reproducible workflows. My experience extends from layout-aware simulation to PCB-level implementation and laboratory measurement, with an attention to EMI-aware design. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I regularly mentor students in CMOS IC design and simulation.
